Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles Session 007 is history… an urban legend about a fallen angel and a narrow brick alley crammed with inspired artists and awed onlookers. Were you there? If so, be sure to leave links to your sketches and photos via the comments link below as a record of what really happened. The image above of model Kymberly Jane is J. Corsentino’s memento of the evening.

And here’s a link to the iTunes version of Traci Asher’s Session 007 playlist.

Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles Session 007 is taking place at a new location in the NoHo Arts District. Cella Gallery boasts an inspiring calendar of art exhibitions and special events. Known for showcasing emerging and mid-career artists, as well as providing an inspiring space for artists to meet, Cella Gallery is a perfect venue for Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles’ first pop-up event. For the rest of 2010, Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles will be hosting a roving life drawing cabaret that will appear (and vanish) in a new location on the 3rd Sunday of every month. (The 1st Sunday of every month will find Dr. Sketchy’s at Billy Shire Fine Arts in Culver City as usual.)

Dr. Sketchy’s Los Angeles Session 007 will be an exploration of urban mysticism. J. Corsentino is a fantasy photographer and creator of a new mythology titled Time of the Faeries that is populated with contemporary etherial vixens. Corsentino will be bringing a brand new muse, Kymberly Jane to pose for Session 007.

The doors for Session 007 will open at 7:00 PM with poses starting shortly thereafter. Membership is $12 at the door. The age requirement for this session is 18+.

Cella Gallery, 5229 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91601
